Next Stop, Glendive...

Here are some more un-edited photos for the blog... :/
(Remember the days when I used to have time to edit all photos before they hit this thing?
THOSE DAY ARE OVER BABY!)

ANYWAY...

Two days after Brock and Heather left, I braved the trip to Glendive with the kidlets...
 ...all by myself...
(While Clint was off galavanting working in Singapore.)
It used to take Clint and I about 9.5 hours to get from Polson to Glendive...
...stopping only for gas.
It took the kids and me...wait for it... two days!
HA!
The kids actually did really well, but we stopped...A LOT.
It was totally worth the trip.
We all had a great time!

Liam spent much time on his bike at Papa and Grandma's.

Morning PJ kisses.

"Oh, Papa, I missed you!"

Vampire Blood!  Oops...I meant cherrie juice!

Ruby with Great Grandma Mona :)

Liam's Favorite thing was going for "motorcycle rides" with Papa.
He asks me when we can do that again Every time he sees a motorcycle now.
*Rip my heart out kiddo*

"Here we go!"
Papa has a black and pink helmet for the grandkids...
Pink was picked EVERY TIME! :)

Grandma trying to get Liam to smile for the camera...
(P.S. Check out my sweet new shirt!
Can you believe this was purchased by Papa!?)

Brother and Sister.

Yes, I know I'm biased,
but shoot, they're cute!

Liam playing Uno Moo!
Best game ever!

Ruby was a fan of the outdoor swing...

...So was I!

Grandma and Roobs.

Ruby 10 Weeks!

My grade school BFF, Erin, was able to make the trip to Glendive to come see us with her son, Patrick!
YAY!

Patrick LOVED driving the Barbie Jeep!
And he knew EXACTLY what to do!

Liam, on the other hand, had NO concept of driving...
Give it 14 years, and look out insurance companies!!!
*Yipes!*

P: "I'll take it from here, Liam!"

These two were so cute together!
They cried when they had to part ways :/
You know what boys, I cried when I left Erin too :*(
Someday it would be SOOOOO fun if we could be neighbors!

Grandma had an AWESOME spiderman ball!

Timeout...
"I need a hug!"

LOOOOOOK!!!  It's Uncle Anddrew...
...And he's holding a BABY!

Auntie Cassie and Rooberrie!

Liam has been talking about Aunt Cassie's Elephant noises since Christmas...
He tried to learn...
NO one can top Cassie!

Being Mom to 2 awesome kids...
Pretty stressful and frustrating at times, but
SUCH a blessing!
Best Job E.V.E.R.

Bye-Bye...
See you at Thanksgiving!
(only 15 more weeks)

Brock, Heather, and Cousins Come to Town!

My brother, Brock, and his family came to visit the day after we returned from WA.
We had so much fun with them!
We spent a day in Glacier National Park, played outside...A LOT, and played in the lake.

Painting Rocks with Shannalee.

Addi and Liam getting a ride Sa-wEEt Ride.

Swimming...

Check out my sweet wheels!

We went to the cherry festival in Polson.
Clint and Brock entered a cherry spitting contest...
Brock took second place!

Jack behind the wheel...Look out!

Addi was a little too tall for the cars, but...

...she gave awesome pushes!

Liam and Jack had matching bikes, and they did some serious riding in the driveway!

Glacier.

Ruby and Aunt Heather

This is how Ruby spent most of her time while they were here :)

Liam on a hike!

Trying to calm Ruby down in the car...woops!

I call Brock the baby whisperer...
Every time he held Roobs, she ended up falling asleep :)

Time was too short, but we had lots of fun.
Liam is really, REALLY missing his cousins now, and asks if they can "come over tomorrow" almost daily.  Makes me sad that most of our family lives so far away.
I guess you just make it count when they are close.

Thanks for making the trip out to see us, guys!

Washington!

3 Days after returning home from Canada, we headed to Port Orchard, Wa.
a.k.a. our old stomping grounds.
We had a great time visiting friends!
Here are just a few pictures from my phone.
I haven't even had time to download them from my camera yet.
Sheesh!

We were fortunate enough to stay with great friends, The Carpenters, in Port Orchard.
Somehow Ruby stole my side of the bed...

This is one of the things I miss about Washington.

Girls coffee date at 6 am with my friend, Katie!
OH HOW I MISS YOU SWEET KATIE!

Liam's first time on a ferry...
...um no...
...Liam's first time on a ferry when he can walk and knows what a boat is :)

Riding bikes in Gasworks Park.

Seattle view from Gasworks Park.

We had to take this picture...

We left the fountain right before the nudist bike rally showed up...
Seriously...truth...
go ahead and read that sentence again...

Seattle Children's Museum.
Liam LOVED it!
(so did Clint...obviously...where is Liam in this picture anyway?)
There was a 4ish-year old-girl bully there...
She was pushing, shoving, etc. and seemed to pop up everywhere we went, so
We had to go slightly ape on her when she kept trying to steal Liam's grocery cart!
(bully parents, where where you?!)
There were about 100 other carts just waiting for her to claim them.
(we probably shouldn't have been "those" parents but we were...a little bit...HA!)

We went to the Tacoma zoo with our friends the Carpenters.
Here are Liam and Caroline sharing some goldfish.

Ruby enjoying riding in the stroller.

We also spent and afternoon with the Lees!

Liam made a new buddy...
Julie had animal cookies AND chocolate milk at her house!
mmmmmm....
He still talks about the "nice lady with yummy snacks." :)

He also rekindled his friendship with CeCe...
He still talks about going to see her "tomorrow."

We stopped at many parks along the way to let the littlest little eat,
and let the little-bit-bigger little RUN!

We had a chance to feed some ducks in Spokane.

AND both kids got to take their FIRST carousel ride together :)

Outback Steakhouse in Spokane...
A.L.M.O.S.T. home...
WHOOOO!

Waterton Lakes, Canada

When I was about 8 months pregnant with Ruby I thought to myself,
"I'm so excited for a relaxing summer at home."
Ha!
It has been CRAZY!!!
In a good way...
We have been going non-stop.
Ruby's first road trip was to Waterton Lakes, Canada.
She was 6 weeks old...

Clint's Aunt Mary was married to Cori, and we were fortunate enough to help celebrate!
Liam still talks about this trip fondly, and wants to know when he can go see Mary and Cori again.

Ruby and Liam with Grandma Kit.

Woohoo!

The Bride and Groom

Ruby May and Esther May...
R: "I just love my Great Grandma Esther."

Liam singing Old McDonald, and Twinkle, Twinkle at the reception.

This was probably the highlight of Liam's trip.
(sorry, Mary.  The wedding reception took a close 2nd).
We actually rented this crazy cart twice, because he loved it so much!

Liam and his new friend Lyla...
She kissed him...
He pushed her over...
and so it begins...
