Bunnies

This weekend we had a fun visit with my brother, Jordan,  and sister-in-law, Jackie.
They hadn't been to the east side of the lake the enchanted forrest before,
so we spent a little time outside and then went to lunch at the Smokehouse
(our favorite Polson eatery).
What's so great about the Smokehouse...
WELL...
They have the best BLT EVER!!!
AAAANNNNDDDD...
They have BUNNIES!
Not to eat, but just always running around the property.
Not only do you get good food, but you get free, quality entertainment!
And THAT'S what I call a goldmine when you are carting around a toddler.
Can I get an "Amen" from all the parents out there?!

"Come here little bunny!"

"You better run fast, 'cause I'm gonna getcha!"

"Mama, I lost him?"

Liam LOVES the bunnies...

See for yourself :)
*cheers*

Just Catching Up on Some Pictures

Have I mentioned how much Liam loves his Frog boots?!
No?!
Well, he pretty much wears them every second he is awake,
and sometimes even to bed!
I got them for a buck at the Goodwill one day when we hopped in the car,
  drove to Bozeman,
and realized we didn't pack shoes for the little dude.
Best dollar I have EVER spent...HANDS. DOWN.

Getting into trouble with the frog boots...

Trying to sort through 8 decks of Pinochle cards in the frog boots...

Taking the frog boots off for a brief moment to wear Shannalee's shoes...which is always fun!

AND...
taking off shoes altogether so he can run around in his diaper :)

AAAANNNNNDDD....
I've been WAY behind on these little doo-dads...

23 Months...

24 Months...

25 Months...Coming soon...
This is what's been up with us.
I think I am officially done catching up with the blog...whew!
*Cheers*

Eating Out...

Liam is usually quite a trooper when dining out...
It especially Helps when he has fun people are visiting from out of town...

Boring Mom and Dad...

Fun with Grandma...

...and Grandpa!
Who up until last week he called "Sampa"
Now he calls him "Crapa" or "Jim."
Not sure where he picked up on Jim :)

Headphones...

Don't go grocery shopping without them!
Liam loves to Jam out while riding in the cart...
New Favorite Song...
"I'm Gonna Catch You, You Better Run!
By: The Laurie Breckner Band

Living the good life...

And when he gets out of hand...
Daddy Just sits on him :)

Pink and Blue Party #2

As you all know, we had another gender reveal party.
And I'm sure all of you have already heard the outcome,
but here are a couple of pictures anyway.

Liam and Gpa Jim sporting their boots!
(We made Jim change before the party :)

Shannalee setting up the voting booth.

Hanging some "boo-da-dats."
Sadly, after the party, Liam officially started calling them "bA-LOOns."
He still has some seriously cute inflection in his voice, but he's getting too big.
Maybe we should have another one...
Brilliant!
How about around May 13th-ish?!

Casting his vote...PINK...
...even though he wore a blue shirt ;)

FOOD!

Tempted to peek...

Jenn, Sara, and Susan ready to take a bite.

Liam vetoed wearing pink or blue, and opted for orange.
When asked, he was more excited about getting a new puppy...
Which is NOT happening by the way.

Great Grandma Esther and Great Grandpa Don...
Not in agreement in their voting :)

Here we Go...

Drum roooooooooollllllllll...

It's a...

GIRL?!?!
(I was a little shocked...well, I still am)

PINK!

PINK!

PINK!
Sure glad they were all the same color.

Carly, Liam, and Great Grandma Lois

Liam REALLY enjoyed the cupcake part :)

Stephanie, Joel, and Amber

We even got to skype in some family that wasn't able to make it.

Pink, Shmink...
I'm tired and need to get to bed!
It was a fun day.

Time to start sewing things with ruffles!

Whitefish Winter Parade

Clint and I took Liam to the Winter "Pirate" Parade in Whitefish, MT last weekend.
He has been to one other Parade, but this was the first time he really enjoyed it.
The concept of grabbing candy, as fast as possible, eluded him
(which was okay by us).
All he really cared about were the horsies...and there were A LOT...
(This is Montana after all)
and the Pep Band...a Mommy Music Nerd's dream come true right there!

Winter-Shminter.  It has been in the mid-40s all week...
Including while we were at the Parade.
Too bad we are too sick to enjoy a 47* day here today.
*Blech*
The Flu as officially invaded our household.
Liam down...
Shannalee down...
Mommy down...
(but thankfully not near as bad as the others)...
Maybe Clint can fight it off...
MAYBE!

Everyday Life

Not much has been happening in the Enchanted Forrest...
We've spent some cold days inside playing with play dough and coloring...
Two of Liam's current favorite activities.

hmmmm....a little close to the paper...
Weird the things that can be inherited from parents.

Today it is gorgeous, and the snow has almost vanished,
so Liam tried out his new bike for the first time outside.
I think his favorite part was getting to wear his helmet...a.k.a. "hoo-hat"

We hopped on the "Strider Bike" band wagon, and
hope to go straight to a big boy bike with no training wheels after he out grows this bike.

And now we're off to the Whitefish Winter Carnival.
Pictures to come...

When Was I on Here Last?

Yipes!  I think it's been two months since I posted last.
Life has been a bit crazy...
Here are a few unedited photos and a few life-tid-bits...

LIAM UPDATES:

Liam is getting MUCH more proficient at using dinner utensils...
can't you tell?!
HA!  Maybe more enthusiastic is more like it :)
He loves to have a boot (spoon) and foht (fork) at all meals.

Down at the Lake in Mid-November before the snow hit.
LIAM LOVES THE LAKE AND THROWING ROCKS!

Three of Liam's current faves...
1) His bunny, named Bunny.
2) His Auntie Shan-Nee (who is temporarily living with us...heaven for Laim).
3) His blankie...not pictured.

My favorite Liam outfit!
You can only wear frog galoshes and long underwear out in public for so long without ending up on the "funny people of WalMart" website :)

Helping decorate for Christmas...
Putting up the Nativity was his FAVORITE...
Especially the part where he got to get in the "stable."

Our wee little Family

BOOKS!
Most kids wouldn't dig that...
...our little book worm LOVES to read (aka look at pictures, talk about them, and get read to).

Stanford University Corner:
Liam counted to 10 yesterday!  What!?  Albeit, he did skip over 3 and 4, as always, but I didn't think he had a clue past 6.

He also sang fragments of his ABCs in the tub yesterday...something we haven't even worked on.
I guess that annoying, singing Frog has been doing some behind-the-scenes-teaching :)

Liam successfully identifies the colors pink, purple, white, brown, black, yellow, orange, blue, and sometimes green...favorite color is blue.

Loves to run and jump, tackle daddy, and boss around his stuffed animals... and our dog :/

Loves Granola Bars, Chapstick and lotion.

Still thinks he is one...but he's TWO!

I'll try to do a better job of updating this thing...
