Professional Prints

So...I realize the video I posted earlier didn't really do much justice to Brock and Heather's amazing talent.
BUT...now that you have seen how horrible uncooperative Baby Fin was acting, this should really impress Blow Your Freakin' Socks off!
(Sorry Dad, I had to use the word Freakin',  because that's how amazing these turned out)!

P.S. Clint and I are getting ready to order some professional prints through Brock.  If you are interested, let me know ASAP  and I can place your order with ours.  I'm not sure how much they cost in various sizes.

If you have any questions let me know and I can find out for you.

I'll number them, and you can tell me which photo, in which size.

Okay, Let me know if you want any.  Hoping to place my order in the next two weeks.
Happy Easter everyone!

It's My Party and I'll Cry if I want To

Hi Everybody,

I've been wanting to share this clip with you for awhile, but have been technically challenged.  I finally took the time to figure it out in the midst of needing to finish my art walk application, compliling Mini Mi Music lesson plans, putting Liam down for a nap, and cleaning my house!  What can I say, I needed something to make me smile and take a break from the daily grind.

My amazingly talented (I don't want him to get a big head...but seriously...HE IS A.MAZ.ING!) brother, Brock, was so sweet to take some "One-Year-Old" pictures of Liam over our Christmas vacation.  He did such a great job!  If you live near Billings, MT check out Jack and Addi Photography.  He does senior pictures, family photos, child/newborn shots, weddings, pretty much everything!  He and his wife, Heather, are great to work with.  They are so patient, kind, and have an eye for capturing your special moment.

Here was ours...unforgettable for sure...

Thank you Brock and Heather for helping make this milestone memorable!  We LOVE our pictures and will be using your mad skills until we get banned for making too much of a stink ;)

Rockin' the Bed-Head!

This morning, as I was drinking my coffee and watching Liam play (sounds rough, right ;), I realized I haven't taken any pictures in almost a month!

*insert HUGE gasp*

I practically ran to the camera and started shooting like crazy
(as if taking 200 pictures in the next 10 minutes would make up for lost time).

Anyway, here are a couple new pictures of Baby Fin.

Monumental moment...
At first glance, this picture is so sweet.  Oh look, Liam is reading books.

WRONG!

Liam is taking tearing CDs off the shelf.  A "No Touch" that he is well aware of.
Before I continue, I want to say that Liam has been doing so good  GREAT with obeying the  "no touch" rule for a couple of weeks.  I am so proud!

Today, though,  he decided he didn't like getting scolded (he received a hand-swat for this act of disobedience), so...

*da-da-dun*insert dramatic music*

He swatted me back!!

I was completely shocked!  TIME OUT was to follow!
sidenote: Liam much prefers a hand-swat than a time out.
When he goes to time out he feels officially shamed...

Anyway, I can't believe he actually hit me.
I guess he's growing up and testing those boundaries.

After the official shaming, we got back to having some fun.
"Ooo...something on the floor I can eat.
I just love it when mom doesn't vacuum!"

"Check out my crazy bed-head."
SA-wEEt!

"What Mom?  You want me to smile? Okay."

"Oh, not this cute smile.  My Big, BIG one.  Okay."

"Is this what you were going for?  Glad I could be of assistance.
I'll be good for the rest of the day and try not to hit you, okay.
I love you Mama!"

"Mini Chopin"...okay, maybe more like "Mini Stravinsky"

I've been trying to capture this exact moment for almost a month now!  In fact, I'm pretty sure Liam thought he was going to get a, "No Touch" and a squeeze of the hand when he saw the way I calmly arose Leapt out of my chair.  In the past, EVERY TIME I've tried to get a video/picture of this, he had had enough and crawled away.  NOT TODAY!  YAY!

Okay, so the music was not the peaceful sounds of Chopin.  It was more like the crazy sounds of Igor Stravinsky (which I still believe MUST have happened out of pure frustration from a severe case of "writers block," but that's just me being closed-minded listener, and not a professional educator of music--hehe...enough tirade!).  Anyway, this was pretty darn cute!

And he was quite VERY pleased with the sounds he was making!

I even got video footage!  I'll try to get it uploaded later.  I've been having technical difficulties with imovie (not my favorite).

*Cheers!*
