Well, we made it back from Europe, and I immediately stopped blogging about our daily adventures.
Not because life became boring, but because reality set in.
Clint has been crazy busy with work, and I have been crazy busy chasing after my TODDLER!
August in a nutshell:
One week after arriving home from Europe, I was a first-time vendor in the Bigfork Festival of the Arts.
It was really fun, but EXHAUSTING!
I learned A TON for next year.
Grins by Fin...upcyccled creations that make you smile
Our Friends Dan and Elizabeth came to visit with their two kiddos Caroline and Michael.
Caroline (3) to Liam, "You're my husband, Liam. Now get me out of this traffic, husband!"
Bahahah!
Liam got in all 4 of his 1-yr. molars at the same time!
It was/is rough!
IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS (now) he's getting in 4 canines.
I've been trying by best to just keep him from writhing in pain...
aka...giving him TONS of yogurt pops and bananas (his favorite food).
We do a lot of eating outside...easy cleanup!
Liam generally prefers to run around in his underwear on hot days...
Generally speaking, I DO wear pants.
Handsome hubbers after work!
Clint's family came for a few weeks.
Liam getting his "cool" on with Logan :)
When it came time to buy Liam swimwear for the summer choices in his size were flames or skulls. We decided to get sculls and randomly (Rambo-ly...lol) dress him up like a pirate :)
I flew to Dallas, TX for 5 days with these lovely ladies to the International MOPS Convention.
(I only had a mini hyperventilation-meltdown before leaving my Baby Fin.)
It was literally life-changing for me.
More on that later.
Our worship team, EMMER, was one of the opening bands for Steven Curtis Chapman here in Kalispell, MT.
He was AMAZING to see.
What an incredible guitar player and speaker!
As you can see,
We have had a CONSTANT flow of visitors all month.
It has been good, but we are pooped.
September will also be a busy month for us, and then we hope to slow down a bit.
We JUST got back from Liam's very first camping trip today.
More pictures on that to come.
A few Liam tidbits:
- Like's to say no...UGH!
- Hate's time-outs and has been getting quite a few lately...hence the "no" phase.
- Enjoys throwing anything he can get his hands on...again...time outs and *gasp* spankings :/
- Loves to cuddle!
- Still our little banana-lovin'-monkey.
- Has a new laugh...HAVE TO GET IT ON TAPE!
- LOVES driving his blue car and "talking on the phone" (although not while driving ;).
- Still loves music and balls of any kind.
- Loves the outdoors and shoes (brings shoes to me all day long and asks me to put them on him).
- Running around in his diaper...or without a diaper.
- Taking baths and swimming in the lake...WATER!
- Loves yogurt pops, beans, banana, and rice.
- Wearing hats (YEAH! Hated them for a while)!
- So many more cute things.
