We finally had some nice weather this weekend.
It was between 75*-85* all weekend, so we spent the whole weekend in the yard.
There is an awesome raspberry patch in our yard!
Last summer we picked 17.5 lbs.!
(not including the ones we ate while picking :)
The only problem is that the patch has been a little overgrown with weeds...
Or maybe a lot overgrown...
Before...
Raspberries, raspberries, where are you?!
We pulled weeds for a good 16-18 hours.
Even with gloves that amount of weeding made our hands swell and ache...
"Clint, I found one! Yippee!"

We were attacked by ANTS!!
It was literally WWIII out there...
They were super aggressive, and we have many war wounds...
We had to take a pool break to cool off.
Liam's FAVORITE thing to say and play with is

I love his little pucker.
For some reason Liam didn't actually want to get in the pool...
But he did have fun throwing his balls in the water and splashing around.

Most of the raspberries that were actually alive were not in the "designated patch area."
I think we transplanted about 40-50 sprigs...
Not sure what they are actually called, so I'll just call them sprigs

One and-a-bit pickup loads FULL to be almost precise!
DONE...AHHH...
I could almost hear heaven calling.
Now time for some serious enjoyment in our picking...
No more hunting and getting all scratched up!
