Whew!
I never knew that an application for one art fair could take SO much time!
I decided to apply for the Bigfork Art Festival back in February.
I've have been working on my submission ever since.
You are only allowed to enter three photos of your work, and one of your booth.
I cheated embellished a little by making my photos "two-fold."
I thought it was really hard to get an accurate portrayal of the clothes when they aren't being worn.
However, It's hard to see details when they are on a child.
So...
I did this little number that I learned from Jack and Addi Photography.
Thanks for the tip Brock.
I'll find out if I'm accepted in the first week of May.
If I don't get in...I'll have baby gifts for a lifetime.
All you friends be prepared.
This is what you'd be getting for your wee-one :)
In Fact, you may be getting this anyway...
Liam sporting his upcycled sweater pants and scrappy owl hat.
Made from 100% Recycled Materials.
Liam's dear friend (to be unnamed)...
Wasn't sure if her mama wanted her picture on our blog, so we had to edit out her darling face.
...wearing an Upcycled T-shirt Dress/Leggings Set with a Scrappy Newsie Hat
Made from 100% Recycled Materials.
Clothespin Frame made from Upcycled Wood.
My little booth...
I was hoping for a bit more punch in this photo, but I ran out of time.
If I get accepted, come to the fair in Bigfork, MT
the first weekend in August.
Actually, come regardless...it's filled with cool stuff!
OR...e-mail me and I can make you a custom order to ship ;)
OR...just cross your fingers and wish me luck :)
I am taking a sewing break until Monday!
