FRUIT!!!

SOOOO...what have I been doing with my time whilst not teaching music...CANNING FRUIT!!!!  At first it was really fun, but now I SERIOUSLY need a canning break.  Here's what I'm talking about

WE PICKED:

17 lbs. raspberries

46 lbs. yellow plumbs

15 lbs. purple plumbs

90 lbs. apples

CANNED:

15 pints raspberry jam

12 quarts apple pie filling

12 pints yellow plumb sauce

24 pints yellow plumb jam

12 pints purple plumb jam

5 pints habanero plumb jam

16 pints apple butter

9 quarts applesauce

Before this fall I'd never canned anything in my life!  I had a few mishaps, a few injuries, and a few successes!
